My daughter Kayla Carter is a single mom, working two jobs with many health problems, to make a better life for her three year old son.
We would like to thank you for supporting Stephanie Fugatt in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Being able to be here for her miracle baby and give him the love and protection he needs and deserves is what she would say is the most rewarding part of being a mom. After losing four other babies, fighting through the hardships of health problems, and being a domestic violence survivor, her son is her everything.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? She would probably say Mother's Day of 2021 is one memory she'll never forget. In April of 2021, she delivered twins, a stillborn baby girl and a premature baby boy. She contracted necrotizing fasciitis and spent many months in the hospital and rehab, being told she would never walk again because of all the damage done. Her baby boy helped her overcome all odds.
What would you do with $20,000?She would use the money to establish a foundation in her baby girl's name to help other mothers in their time of grief when suffering a loss. She's always wanted to do that to help provide support, counseling, cuddle cots, angel gowns, and memorial boxes.
