I wasn’t always the best mom. I struggled with addiction for 15 years. I’ve been clean for almost 8 years, being the mom my kids deserve.
We would like to thank you for supporting Jessica Allday in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my kids become kind, strong, and beautiful souls—and knowing I had a hand in shaping that. It’s the little moments, the ‘I love yous,’ the trust in their eyes, and the way they still come to me at their ages when they need mom. Nothing compares.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One of my favorite memories with my kids is a night we didn’t plan—just us, in the living room, in PJs, eating snacks, and laughing at the dumbest movie. No big event, no perfect setting—just pure joy, connection, and love. It reminded me that the most special moments aren’t always the loud, fancy ones. It’s the quiet nights when you realize how lucky you are to have each other.
What would you do with $20,000?If I won $20,000, I’d put most of it away for life’s unexpected moments—because as a mom, I know they always come. But I’d also use some of it to take my family on a much-needed vacation. When your kids grow up, start working, and juggling their own lives and bills, it gets harder to just pause and be together. I’d plan something special—a relaxing trip on mom—because we all need that time, and honestly, we’ve earned it.
