Single mother who works as a substitute teacher and a sitter at the hospital. However, I still make the time to be a super mom for my kid.
We would like to thank you for supporting Janet mendez in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Seeing my daughter excel in every aspect of life. From gymnastics to reading, math, science, roller skating, kayaking and living a happy life with what God provides for us.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One of the many memories I will never forget is when she got her first stitches. It happened during a Halloween event. As she was having the time of her life with her princess heels she was dancing and got hurt on the side of a metal chair. I practically ran those manhattan blocks to get to the nearest hospital. She taught me how to be calm in moments of desperation. When she got her stitches she didn’t cry instead she held my hand and said “I’m okay mommy”.
What would you do with $20,000?I would take her on a trip to Ecuador to visit my side of the family for the first time. I would also take her to Japan since she’s been trying to learn Japanese. With the rest I would place it in bank account saving for her future educational goals.
