What makes me a super mom is getting up everyday living and learning to do my best to create and give the best future for my daughter.
We would like to thank you for supporting Desiree Jenkins in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part about being a mom is being there every step of the way to watch my daughter play, grow, and learn in the world and getting to comfort my daughter when she’s down. Knowing she will know she can always count on mommy and that mommy loves her unconditionally.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?I will never forget giving birth to my daughter. I wanted to go natural so bad I couldn’t. The contractions were so bad that after I got the epidural my baby’s heart rate dropped constantly to where I had to have a c section immediately. Them cutting me open while I was awake was an experience I’ll never forget. She was so beautiful. The skin to skin contact and the crying just made everything seem real raw and amazing!
What would you do with $20,000?I would move out of my mom’s house, invest in kids at the daycare I work for, and finish taking care of business I have to do to provide my daughter with the best life possible!
