Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Having a new favorite phase of life all the time. And watching the younger ones walk through phases we've seen before in their own way. Watching them become their own people as they grow. My oldest is my analytic, take it apart, how does it work kid. My middle is my cuddly, always wants a hug, tender hearted one. The youngest is the bravest, most strong-willed little one I've known. Them being themselves as individuals and as our family unit is so immensely gratifying.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

That we're all learning as we go. Every hurdle my kids face for the first time, I'm also facing it for the first time as a mom. We all make mistakes, but we have to own up to that, learn from it, and move forward. Also, learning how to see a situation from their perspective. They may not see it the way I do, but it's still my job to walk them through it.

What would you do with $20,000?

Probably put it toward a newer, bigger car! I bought my car before we had any kids. It fits us all, but they are only getting bigger every day. And with all the camping, sports equipment, etc, we could use something with more space.
