The most rewarding part of being a mom is knowing I’m not just raising a daughter, I’m raising a future force. When she does something that reflects what I’ve taught her, it reminds me I’m not failing, I’m shaping her. Every win, every moment, and every time she feels safe and loved, that’s the reward. But most of all, watching her confidence grow into who she is becoming is everything to me.

Motherhood has taught me that the biggest lesson is that the greatest impact comes from the small everyday moments that quietly shape who a child becomes. Watching my daughter grow into a kind, brilliant, strong 11 year old has shown me that confidence is one of the most important gifts I can give her, especially because it’s something I struggle with. The biggest lesson is also realizing she feels safe enough to come to me about anything and knows my love for her is unconditional!

I would use the $20,000 to create more stability and opportunity for Iris and our future. Everything I do is to give her a better life. I would put it toward buying our first home, turning the stability we already have into something permanent and lasting that we can truly call our own. It would be a foundation for her future, giving her more security, confidence, and the comfort of knowing she will always have a home to come back to and grow in.
