Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Being a mom to two completely different girls, one 16 and one 10, is definitely a challenge, but it’s also so rewarding. What’s most rewarding is being their constant through both stages, guiding one through teenage life while still soaking in the sweetness of the younger years. I get to revisit what wasn’t that long ago while also learning all the new trends and language from my 10 year old. It stretches me, grows me, and reminds me how special every stage is.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is how strong and capable I really am. I became a mom at 21 while in college, and instead of holding me back, it pushed me to be better. I graduated with a 3.75 while raising Reagan, proving I can handle hard things. Then Zoey came and taught me even more about patience and balance. Motherhood showed me that timing doesn’t define success, your mindset does, and everything I’ve built started with them.

What would you do with $20,000?

Every dollar would go toward my girls and their future. I’d invest it into their education, their schools, and opportunities that help them grow into strong, confident young women. For me, it’s not just about providing, it’s about building a foundation they can stand on for life. Everything I do is to give them more than I had, and to keep showing up as the best mom I can be every single day.
