The most rewarding part of being a mom, to me, is giving, showing up, and both giving and receiving love. It’s seeing that love reflected in my children’s smiles, their growth, and their appreciation. Knowing that my presence, support, and care make a difference in their lives is what truly fills my heart.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me to be flexible and intentional—that parenting isn’t one-size-fits-all. Each child is different, and my children, 27 years apart, have completely different needs and personalities. What worked for my oldest doesn’t work for my youngest. I’ve learned to adjust, grow, and provide support and guidance in ways that fit who they are.
What would you do with $20,000?If I had $20,000, I would first catch up on bills as the head of my household. Then I’d take my two daughters and two grandchildren on a well-deserved resort trip. The past few years have been challenging, but we’ve supported each other and made it work. With big milestones ahead, we deserve time to relax, reset, and enjoy one another.
