I get a front row seat to watch this beautiful incredible little life grow up and their personality take shape. I get to be there safe space and person. I get to love on them create their childhood magic, see the wonder of the world through a new set of eyes and teach them about life. My little son and daughter’s smile and hug is all the reward I need.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Life isn’t perfect motherhood is a wonderful example of that. You can plan something to a T and it won’t go your way. I learned that that’s OK and that there’s beauty in it. There’s beauty in the chaos and that it’s OK to deviate from the plan because sometimes things turn out even better than you have imagined them.
What would you do with $20,000?I would love to say I’d take that $20,000 and go on a magical vacation with my family but in today’s economy I don’t think that’s practical. I think the best thing that I could do with that $20,000 would be to give it to my children. Each child would get $10,000 invested towards their future and they can use that for anything from school payments to a down payment on a house I believe setting them up for the future is one of the most important things that I could do for them.
