Those times when the world pauses long enough for you to see you did something good teaching your children, most of the time in the chaos it seems like you're failing. When my kids use manners in public, even though they're crazy at home, I realize they actually do hear me sometimes. I can't replace my kids, and I'm blessed to have them. I love their laughs, and watching them grow up, even the difficult stages of attitudes.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Expect the unexpected with boys. Lighten up and realize I can't stop their craziness, I can only embrace it, correct it where I can, and make good things come from it at every opportunity. My lessons don't show yet with the younger ones, but I get to see some of those light bulbs come on with my older ones.
What would you do with $20,000?Take a family vacation we've never had. Enjoy each other finally and step away from the world and devices. Pay off a few bills so we could actually vacation stress free. I would also invest some to market my business to grow even bigger.
