What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is having a friend for life when there is no one else. I now know that I was gifted this title because GOD knew exactly what I needed. Being able to see that this human whom came from me is growing daily no matter how much I don't want her to grow up on me is such a blessing. It is refreshing & humbling to know that someone else besides GOD loves me so unconditionally no matter what we experience be it alone or together.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is to "Give Yourself Grace." I tend to beat myself up at times when I feel like something is undone or I can't reach a part of her that only The Most High GOD can. While, I wear other titles such as being a wife, teacher, nurse, coach for her & her teammates, being her cheerleader, being her advocate, & advisor, I've also learned that I still have to take care of me or I can't care for her nor anyone else for that matter.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, I would start a nonprofit for abused, homeless women with children because of my own personal experiences, give to a charity, and let my daughter decide what else to do with what's left in hopes of her intentions being good. Lol😄 Needless to say, I don't doubt for a second they wouldn't be because she has such a very caring and humble spirit like her mother.
