Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The love I get from my sweet son is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. He always makes me feel like the most special person in the universe. From his early morning smiles and cuddles to his nightly prayers where he literally thanks God for me and his Dad and a thousand moments in between, his magical little soul makes my heart explode. He’s the first person I want to share anything exciting with whether it’s a new song or a new manicure; he’s my biggest cheerleader.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me that being a ‘supermom’ isn’t about doing everything perfectly—it’s about loving deeply, showing up consistently, apologizing for mistakes, and finding magic in the middle of the chaos. I’ve also learned that strength and softness can exist at the same time, and the world’s truly got nothing on the inner strength of a mother. And even though it can get really hard, that feels really empowering. Because only we can do what we do. :)

What would you do with $20,000?

I find myself constantly feeling blessed that I was raised with strong values, including making education a priority. I want the same bright future for my kiddo, so this money would go straight into his college fund in hopes that it would allow him all the opportunities and success life has to offer.
