Being a mom is not an easy task. In fact, I feel like it’s the most underrated job. But at the end of the day, great or hard, I know that my kids feel safe and loved. And that right there is rewarding. I have built in best friends. It’s feeling unconditional love even on the hardest days. It’s witnessing growth and milestones both big and small.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood continues to teach me everyday. The biggest lesson for me is patience. As the girls grow and go through each phase and learn who they are and what boundaries they can push it’s important to stay patient and kind to teach them life lessons and what is acceptable and what isn’t. Learning patience is also learning love. I am not perfect at being patient but I try my hardest.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000 I would do 1 of 2 things. I’d save it for a down payment for building a “dream” house or I’d pay off all my debt and take a load of stress off. Most of me wants to pay the debts because groceries are high, gas is high, the bills just keep adding up and sometimes that’s a lot to deal with.
