The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my children grow into their own unique selves while maintaining a healthy, loving relationship with them. Being part of their journey and experiencing my own growth alongside them has been incredibly meaningful.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me not to take things personally and that if it feels easy, I’m probably not doing it right. It’s shown me that consistency matters and that the teenage years are when they need you most, so you lean in, stay present, and keep showing up.
What would you do with $20,000?I would take my kids on an amazing vacation, something we haven’t been able to do since my husband passed 7 years ago. I went back to school, earned my master’s, newly started my own practice, and built a career to support us. This would also help pay off debt and support my kids’ next chapter, with my daughter graduating in June and my son having already graduated high school. I’m so proud of us for staying strong, close, and a team through it all.
