I cherish every moment- cancer changes your perspective on time and what matters. I am learning to skateboard with my almost 5-year-old son. He gives me the courage to try new things and be a kid again. I have thought about death separating us- and life is too short! I’m grateful to have any time with my son at all. I’m grateful to share it all with my husband- in sickness and in health! 🫶
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?As a therapist and a mother, I have learned to heal my inner child and take a breath. I have learned to ground through meditation and by being outside. Motherhood in 2026 is so busy. Trying to be do it all as a mother- I’m learning balance. I am okay with dirty dishes in the sink and a messy house on occasion because being present matters most.
What would you do with $20,000?Put it towards medical treatments for my cancer!
