What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me that you can’t control everything—and you’re not supposed to. The biggest lesson has been learning to let go a little, to guide instead of manage, and to trust that what you’re pouring into your kids every day will stick. It’s also shown me how important it is just to be present. The days can feel long and messy, but the years really do go fast, and it’s the small, ordinary moments that end up meaning the most. What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, we’d put it toward creating more time and memories with our kids. We’ve talked about putting in a pool so our home can be the place all the kids want to be—full of laughter, friends, and summer fun. Another dream would be a year-round camping spot where we can take our trailer and unplug, just spending intentional time together as a family. Either way, it would be an investment in experiences our kids would absolutely love and remember forever.
