The most rewarding part is knowing my son feels safe, loved, and seen because of me. It’s in the little moments—how he looks at me, trusts me, and comes to me for comfort. Watching him grow while knowing I’m shaping his sense of love, security, and confidence means everything. That kind of impact is something I don’t take lightly.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood taught me that healing is necessary. I had to face myself, grow, and unlearn things that no longer served me so I could raise my son in a healthier, more intentional environment. It showed me that who I am matters just as much as what I teach, and that growth is a continuous responsibility.

I would use it to create stability and long-term growth for my son and me—secure a better living situation, invest in income opportunities, and build a foundation that allows us to thrive, not just get by. It would be a stepping stone toward independence, security, and a better future for us both.
