What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Sharing moments of their milestones as they grow. I love watching them find their hobbies, likes dislikes, what truly makes them them. I get a front row seat to it all! Best part of coming home is the love they pour into you. All the hugs, art pictures from school, stories about their days. Hearing what they accomplished that day. They’re my legacy.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Each child is different. You can raise them the same but they’re all different. They’ve made me a better person. As I watched them grow, they have also watched me grow. It helps me mold my parenting skills to each kid to help meet their needs also support and love. My children have blessed me beyond measure. I make sure to tell them that, so they don’t question their worth. I tell them how proud they make me and that they’re loved unconditionally.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would finally take my children to Disneyland. Before my husband and I started dating I was a single mom going through nursing school. With an infant and a toddler. Took me 7 years to finally finish. My oldest is 13 years old and I’d love to take my family to Disneyland, or go on a cruise with them. I would put some of the money in their college funds. Every year I ask them what they want to be when they grow up. I love hearing their goals and dreams! Have more adventures with my kids!
