The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my son grow into a kind, loving, and respectful kid, and seeing the lessons we’ve instilled in him come to life. It’s like having your heart live outside your body in a little human… I never knew I could love something so much. PLUS, nothing compares to knowing his hugs and kisses are what get me out of bed each morning.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood can feel like such a constant job, and we cannot pour from an empty cup. I am a better mother to my son if I take an hour or two to myself each day. Don’t try to run on empty. Ask for help! I have also learned that NO MATTER the age, you child will always need you in some way. My mom passed 9 months after my son was born, and it made me realize that whether our kids are 3 or 30, they are going to need our love + encouragement. Be there for them!
What would you do with $20,000?Wow. $20,000 dollars. That’s life changing money. I would place some of the money in a savings account for my son and any future children we have, pay off debt so we can have financial freedom, and give to our local church!
