I work hard at multiple jobs to make ends meet because I don’t get any financial support from the father of my kids who I left for abuse.

Seeing the succeed at their dreams and goals despite the life they have had to live at no fault of their own. As abuse victims it’s hard to let go and overcome but I am so proud of my kids for doing just that.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Love as a mother is unconditional. It’s not always easy, especially with a past like ours. The trauma creates a lot of pain and anger for kids and they take it out on the person they know will always love them. It hurts at times but one thing they know is I will always show up; hurt, sick, tired, broken, I am always there to cheer them on.
What would you do with $20,000?Use it as a down payment to get us a home that we don’t have to rent with a yard and a safe neighborhood for my kids.
