Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Watching my two little boys grow together — learning, laughing, becoming best friends right before my eyes. Showing them what it looks like to chase goals and also be present now. The chaos of it all fills my heart in ways I never expected. Every new word, every wobbly step, every proud moment — in them and from them. We are building something beautiful and I soak up every single second.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

That we are so much more capable than we ever imagined. Growing, birthing, and raising an actual human being — two of them now! — and somehow still showing up for my patients and life? Motherhood has expanded every limit I thought I had. It is the hardest, most humbling, most wildly rewarding thing I have ever done — and the journey has only just begun!

What would you do with $20,000?

We are working toward buying our first home — a place for our little ones to grow up, family to visit and stay, and holidays together. A home to call our own. This would mean everything to our family. I would also donate to a women's shelter to help other mamas have a home for their families.
