The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching your child’s milestones in their own individual ways. I have 4 children of ages ranging from 2.5-18. For the little ones, it’s seeing them get excited over the little things and for the older ones, it’s about seeing them reach their goals. They’re all so different, but seeing them grow in their own unique ways and feeling that pride is an incredibly rewarding feeling.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?In regards to my last answer, since each child has a different personality, I’ve had to learn that what worked for one child may not work for another. This can be one of the hardest things about motherhood. Balancing different personalities, emotions and needs. I’ve figured that out throughout the last 18 years of parenting, but I’m still learning. Also, give yourself grace.
What would you do with $20,000?Take a one night getaway for myself to go to the spa, eat a nice meal and sleep in, then take the family away for a long overdue family vacation, then finally put away the rest towards investment accounts for each child future.
