I don’t know that I can pick one thing. Watching my kids smile knowing they’re happy. Earning that “I love you” at the end of each day. Hearing their “mom, look!” when they’re proud of something they’ve done. Just being their mom is the biggest reward I could have ever asked for. Watching them live life loud and full, knowing that i played any role.

to slow down and be present. There is so much to get caught up in every day and so many anxieties. God’s got it, and you don’t have to be perfect for your children to love you and appreciate what you’re doing. Just be there, and be truly, and wholly, present. Let the rest wait. There will be good and bad days, and that’s okay. Take a breath and be grateful for all that God has given you and your children - even the tantrums. Time moves too quickly, cherish every moment and soak in every second.

That’s a good question! I would probably set it aside for my kiddos school tuition for the next few years, honestly. It would allow me to pull back just a little on working night shift and let me enjoy my children to the fullest each day. Take away some of the tiredness and brain fog and allow me to be even more present for them in mind and body. It would be absolutely amazing to have the opportunity to work less while my kids are still so little and they want to be spending time with me.
