What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part is knowing that my kids will never have to face the emotional hardships like myself and their father growing up. Infact we have gone as far as relocating over 300 kms away from my home town in order to give them the best chance at a future. The boys mom left when they were very young leaving them with a lot of feelings they didn't understand, being there for them to support, love and lead them is my reason every morning.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is to be calm. Growing up with anger issues I always struggled with this however the boys have taught me to take a breath, smell the flowers and feel the sunshine. "Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow, for babies grown up as I've learned to my sorrow". The mess, the stress, the over all feeling of being overwhelmed simply fades away when I pause and just watch my babies, remembering how small they were only just last year.

What would you do with $20,000?

$20,000 would change our lives. I had a however accident earlier this year (to no fault of my own) and we have had a hard time catching up sence. The boys school is a 23 min drive from home and there is no bus option, leaving us to car pool or cab daily to ensure the boys educational needs are met. This daily is a cost of 35$ each way. There and back to drop them ($70) and again to pick them up (+$70) making it a grand total of $140 daily if we do not have a drive available (60% of days).
