Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Knowing that I get to make his world feel whimsical and full of wonder is the most rewarding part. There’s so much for him to discover, and I feel so lucky to be right by his side experiencing it all together. People say your heart grows when you become a mom, and it’s so true—it feels like it triples. He’s an extension of me, and I’m committed to giving him the very best parts of who I am. I want to raise him to be kind, respectful, and grounded, but also to find magic and joy in small moments.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me that patience is everything. You can plan and prepare all you want, but things rarely go exactly how you expect, and learning to let go of assumptions has been huge. It has shown me how to adapt, to stay grounded when things shift, and to be okay with the unexpected. And honestly, it has also taught me what true happiness feels like, just being present in the little moments and realizing that is where the magic really is.

What would you do with $20,000?

It would go toward my son’s future first, while also creating meaningful experiences for us along the way. But truthfully, it would also give me the chance to breathe. I work full time and take on side jobs whenever I can, and while I am grateful, I am also tired. This would allow me to pay down debt so that everything I earn moving forward can go toward building a full, present, and joyful life for my little man and our family.
