The most rewarding part of being a mom, especially now that my daughter is a teenager, is watching her grow into her own person, becoming who shes meant to be. Not just physically, but emotionally, and mentally. Being part of that journey fills me with a deep sense of pride. When she wasyounger, my role was more about guiding her through the basics of life,teaching, protecting, and being a source of comfort and love. Now as she steps into university this fall, I get to witness her individuality.

Motherhood has taught me that you can’t control everything, and that’s okay. It’s about being patient, present, and leading by example, in hopes they will see it someday. I’ve learned that listening and supporting matters more than being perfect. Because of this my daughter and I have a friendship bond as well as a family bond. That will always stay true, even when growth and learning happens for both you and your child along the way.

I would invest in my child’s future by supporting her education and creating opportunities that help her grow. I would also use part of it to create meaningful experiences together, especially before she goes off to university this fall, because the memories we build as a family are just as valuable as any financial investment i could ever make.
