Witnessing tiny humans become big humans! Just when you think you’re failing as a parent, your kid surprises you. And I don’t mean that they are successful at everything, but more that no matter the outcome, they come out of every conflict, every sport, every performance, etc. better and more prepared for the world ahead.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?That I have a terrible habit of underestimating people. And that sounds so sad, but I’ve always been a worst case scenario person and I always have this urge to shelter my children from failure, embarrassment, etc. But every time, they prove me wrong. I feel like I learn that lesson with every milestone.
What would you do with $20,000?I would really love invest about half of it towards their college funds, and the other half towards a family trip. They’re finally getting to the age where they can appreciate history and experience new cultures, so I would love to take them for a week in Italy.
