Being a mom means being able to guide your children into adulthood. Experiencing their growth into who they want to become has been something I am grateful for. Allowing them to express their personalities and witness how they want to show up in the world has been one of the best things I’ve done. The love I have received for this is incomparable.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Patience is one of the most important aspects of life, especially with yourself. We can’t control everything. Remembering that every person you encounter is human and can only meet you at their own capacity. Being understanding, empathetic, and kind to others with firm boundaries can be hard at times, and should be the common practice. Again, we’re all human and nobody is perfect, but striving to grow into the person you want to be will be the best decision you can make for you and your family.
What would you do with $20,000?If I won $20,000, a good portion of it would go into accounts for the kids for their future, whichever direction they choose to go. Then I would use a little bit to make some core memories with them on an actual family vacation.
