The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my boys grow into strong, kind, and resilient humans. As a T1D mom, I’ve seen my oldest face challenges with so much courage, and it makes me beyond proud. It’s the little moments—the laughs, the hugs, and knowing I’m their safe place—that mean everything. Being their support, their strength, and their example is what makes motherhood so special to me.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me unconditional love and true sacrifice. It showed me how strong I really am, how to put my kids before myself without hesitation, and how to keep going even on the hardest days. It taught me patience, resilience, and that love isn’t just a feeling—it’s shown in every little thing we do for our children every single day.
What would you do with $20,000?I would donate the $20,000 to Type 1 diabetes research. As a T1D mom, this cause is very personal to me. I’ve seen the daily challenges my child faces, and I want to be part of creating a future where there’s a cure. Supporting research means giving hope not just to my son, but to so many families living this every day.
