What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

When you hear back something you have been working on for a long time. Today he said "Mom it's your option, you can work or play with me, choose quickly or I choose - ok you play wiff me." It was such a sweet positive way to mirror back the way that I have been working with him on threeenager attitudes and it completely melted my heart. I did stop for some playing.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

To take each moment as it comes. Some days are just fun, some are boundary setting, and still others you get to see growth in a new way and sometimes they all happen concurrently. You just never know what it's going to be. Being flexible with my own attitude has helped in every area of my life and I find myself looking for the small delights in life instead of counting on and waiting for the big ones.

What would you do with $20,000?

2 thoughts come to mind, 1) buy a pop up camper and do an epic road trip with my son. Or 2 use it to pay the initial expenses associated with having another child. Would love for my son to have a sibling and continue our journey with 2 kiddos.
