The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my child grow into their own person and knowing I get to be part of that journey. It’s the little moments that mean the most to me—the hugs, the laughter, the way they look at me when they need comfort or reassurance. There’s something incredibly fulfilling about knowing I’m their safe place. I also find so much joy in seeing the world through their eyes again. Things that feel ordinary to me become exciting and new because of them.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me, as a first-time mom, is that I don’t have to have everything figured out to be a good parent. I’ve learned to trust myself more, to be patient with both my baby and myself, and to let go of the pressure to be perfect. It’s also taught me how strong and resilient I really am. There are hard days, moments of doubt, and a lot of learning as I go—but I’ve realized that showing up with love every day is what truly matters.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I had $20,000, as a mom, my first priority would be making sure my baby is safe, secure, and taken care of no matter what happens to me. I’d want to create a sense of stability for them, even in my absence. I would set aside a good portion in a savings or trust fund in their name—something that can grow over time and be there for their future, whether it’s for school, emergencies, or just giving them a head start in life. I’d also make sure all the important things are in place
