PR mom who arrived in Canada mid-COVID (2020) with a 2.5-yr-old, no plan—built a home, career & strength. My son made me a supermom.
We would like to thank you for supporting Soni Gowda in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is that, no matter how tough life gets, one look at your child reminds you that everything will be okay. Their tiny face gives you strength and keeps you from feeling helpless. You become their pillar and role model, pushing yourself to stay strong, keep going, and face every challenge with courage and hope.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me the biggest lesson: patience. It’s a lifelong role, one with no certificate or formal training, yet every mother finds her own way to excel at it… and somehow, we all nail it in our own beautiful, messy, perfect way.
What would you do with $20,000?If I won $20,000 as a single mom, I’d invest $17000 in my son’s education and experiences that help him grow, while also setting aside $3000 for our small celebrations. Every dollar would be used with love and purpose, strengthening our bond and securing a brighter future for us both.
