The most rewarding part of being a mom are the little moments that make everything worth it—the hugs out of nowhere, hearing them laugh, or seeing them figure something out on their own. It’s hard and messy, but when I see them happy and growing into their own little people, I feel like I’m doing something really right. That love and connection? Nothing else compares.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is that I’m stronger than I ever thought. Even when I feel completely exhausted, I somehow still have more to give for my kids. Part of it is because you have no choice—but mostly it’s because you love them so much it pushes you past your limits. It’s also taught me patience, to slow down, and to realize that just showing up every day is more than enough.
What would you do with $20,000?If I won $20,000, I’d use it to give my family a chance to slow down and just be together. Life feels so busy and expensive right now, and I’d love to take my kids on a trip where we can make memories while they’re still little—before everything changes. The rest I’d put toward making our day-to-day life a bit easier, so I can be more present with them instead of always worrying about the next bill.
