I’m a stay at home mom who works when my kids nap. I love my kids dearly and make it a point to also be present for my husband.
We would like to thank you for supporting Sierra Kwast in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
My children are everything to me. I used to sit and dream about one day being a mom, and every single day I wake up and I’m so grateful that I have my children with me. I’d say the most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing my children learn something new. My oldest recently started recognizing letter sounds and it makes me so happy to see her growing in her knowledge, which one day she can use to make her own impact on the world.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood is a lesson in time- every moment is fleeting. To watch my babies change and grow each day is a reminder that even the hardest days will soon be behind us, and I’ll be wishing for these days to come back. I keep that in mind and try to soak up every day with my sweet girls.
What would you do with $20,000?My husband and I have sacrificed greatly to allow me to stay home with our children. We agreed it was the most important thing to us to be able to raise our children without having them leaving us for several hours a day. We would use a small part of the money as a cushion in our budget and the other part we would use to build an addition to our home so that our children wouldn’t have to share rooms.
