Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is when my kids look deep into my eyes after a hard day and I can feel them giving me another chance. It's also so rewarding seeing them accomplish and overcome things in their lives and looking back into their eyes to see so much joy. It's those tiny glances that give me something to hold onto and keep moving forward!

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me (and is still teaching me) is that it's okay to fail. I have strived for perfectionism my whole life, but motherhood has reached into the deepest parts of me and shown me that disappointment is necessary, failure is inevitable, and struggling from time to time is normal. But it's in the moments after failure that truly define how we move forward and improve.

What would you do with $20,000?

$20,000 would truly bless my family in so many ways. We would be able to finish paying off the remaining debt we've been fighting to get rid of and finally start building a down payment for our first house. I dream of the time when we can finally take a deep breath without feeling like money is still suffocating us. We want to be able to establish a secure future for our family while also finding ways to give back to others.
