Watching my son hit all of his milestones and become his own person with his own likes and dislikes. As well as people saying he is the happiest baby, it warms my heart because we are fostering a safe environment for him to express himself in whatever way he needs.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Patience! Especially as my son enters true toddlerhood I’m learning patience is key. If my energy gives off overwhelmed he feeds off of that and will model my behaviors. Taking time to just take a deep breath not only shows him how to self regulate but also gives me time and grace to refocus my energy on the task at hand.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000 it would help us buy a home. We currently are in an apartment and hoping to buy a house soon, but with only my husband working it can definitely become challenging to pay for the things we need (rent, groceries, insurance, clothes for our growing boy, traveling to see family etc) while also saving up to buy a starter home. Having a space that is truly ours would be life changing!!
