The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my kids grow into who they’re meant to be, knowing I helped shape that with love, strength, and patience. It’s in the little moments, the laughs, the lessons, the way they look to me for comfort and guidance. Even on the hardest days, being their safe place, their teacher, and their biggest supporter makes it all worth it.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me that no two children need the same version of me. It’s not about treating them differently, it’s about learning who they are and meeting them where they’re at. Each child needs something unique, different support, different guidance, different love in certain moments. It’s taught me to listen more, to adjust, and to parent with intention instead of assumption.
What would you do with $20,000?If I had $20,000, I would invest it into building a stronger foundation for our homestead and my kids’ future. I’d expand our food systems, plant long-term crops, and create sustainable income streams so we always have a backup plan. I’d also pour into my kids’ education, teaching them real-life skills, how to grow food, manage money, and build something of their own. My goal is to create something lasting, something they can carry forward and pass down for generations.
