Watching my kids achieve their goals always makes me tear up. Seeing my daughter perform on stage, hearing how kindly my son interacted with customers at his first job, having teachers tell me how skilled/talented/friendly my kids are… all of the little things just fill me up with joy!
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?I’ve learned to not take things too seriously and to find joy in the little things: going for a walk and talk at sunset, sharing a dessert at or favorite place, talking late into the night about anything and everything and laughing until we cry. All of those little moments created a wonderful lifetime of motherhood memories - for me and hopefully sweet memories for my kids as well.
What would you do with $20,000?My son is getting married in El Salvador this year and I would love to make sure my daughter and I can be there and participate fully for them. Momma also needs a new car! (Mine is 13 years old & keeps having issues) So that would make a good down payment for a cute new ride for my empty nest life.
