What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Witnessing my children blossom into brilliant young minds and vibrant individuals has been an immensely fulfilling experience as their mother. I cherish empowering them to pursue their passions and interests, embracing the paths they choose in life. Because beholding them is a testament to the values I've instilled in them, a shining reflection of the integrity and character I've nurtured in them to become.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

I have been divinely blessed with a precious child with special needs, afflicted with cerebral palsy, who relies entirely on me for every facet of life. Reflecting on the past 18 years, I realize now that I had no idea how abundantly God would supply me with the patience and strength needed to safeguard, care for, love, and provide for my son and my other children. Together, we've watched our family grow and evolve learning invaluable lessons. Cultivating patience has been the biggest lesson.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would have the opportunity to work PRN, empowering me to focus on nursing school full-time and accelerate my journey to becoming a nurse. I would proactively manage my finances by paying my rent and bills ahead, liberating myself from financial stress and allowing me to channel my energy towards achieving my nursing school goals. Balancing full-time work, being a devoted full-time mother, and caring for a child with a disability is undoubtedly an immense challenge. Dreaming BIG!
