Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I feel being a mother is the most IMPORTANT job we could ever have. Watching my children grow up, and knowing I (we) have led them, loved them, and taught them to the best of our ability to become the next generation is worth more than any monetary job. Knowing I played a vital role in all the moments for my children is so rewarding. After working as an RN, I now homeschool my children. I (we) have four girls! Pouring my time into their growth and future is so important to me.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

I have learned that we can't do everything perfectly as a mom. We are all super moms if we are loving our kids unconditionally. We wear MANY HATS! Being a military wife has taught me I have to stay strong, even when it is hard. There are wonderful days. There are hard days, exhausting days.....but there is a sense of purpose and love that makes motherhood worth all of it! Motherhood has taught me that focusing on our faith, family, and our values is what matters most and keeps us grounded.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I was to win 20,000, I would set aside an emergency fund for the unknown to get ahead. Because let's be real, this day and age, everything is expensive and throw in all the unexpected. Life throws curve balls. Living on only one persons income is hard, and we have adapted and made sacrifices. After I set aside an emergency fund, I would split the rest up for our parents to help them with a small financial blessing. It would be a blessing for us!
