Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mother is watching your children grow into kind and thoughtful little humans. After filling them with kindness, love, wonder and magic, you see how they embody those ideals in their stories, how they speak to themselves/others and how they play! It’s a gift, like winning a grand prize. It’s similar watching your garden grow; after planting the seeds, tirelessly watering them, you see the fruit! It has been the greatest joy of my life watching them learn.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has made me become a better version of myself. It has stretched me and challenged me in many ways. I’ve had to heal wounds I didn’t know I had, grow in virtues I’ve always fallen short with, and discipline myself in ways I didn’t know possible. Motherhood has also taught me new ways to care for myself & how to rest. It’s taught me how to let go and be present, and how to find joy in the mundane everyday moments.

What would you do with $20,000?

Well $20,000 might not seem like a lot to some, it would mean the world for my family and I. We would definitely use it to put into our three children’s savings accounts and to pay off a large amount of our debts. It would take a lot of financial burden and stress off of my husband’s and my very busy plates. Truly, it would be such a gift to us.
