Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Watching my daughter grow into her own person! She's so different from me, but she's also my best friend and we spend hours laughing together. The little moments are the best, giggling over inside jokes, playing board games on quiet nights, or just watching her light up when she’s proud of something she's created. Knowing I’m raising a good human who feels safe, loved, and supported is the most rewarding feeling there is.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me resilience and perspective. You learn quickly that you can handle more than you ever thought possible. It’s also taught me things I was not shown when I was a child, like patience and leading with love. Our tiny humans are their own people, not robots that should silently obey orders and follow our recipe of success. Perfection isn't the goal, but being present and building trust are my priorities as a mom.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would 100% use it to invest in our future. Pay down debt and put the rest toward a down payment for the home we've always dreamed of! $20,000 would give me some breathing room between my full-time job and side projects since I do a lot of bookkeeping and working toward a career in fitness instruction (aspiring pilates princess) on the side. Maybe a little of that would go toward buying her concert tickets to her favorite K-Pop artist, TOP, since we love experiences over gifts!
