Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Hands down the relationship that I have with each of my children. I have gained their trust to where they feel safe telling me how they feel and what they are going through. It’s rewarding to have children that feel safe with me and confide in me and value my opinion and advice. I am very intentional to not be reactive and to always think before I speak. The days can feel long but they are so worth it.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has brought me closer to God which is a million lessons daily. I am constantly being tested with life, personal things, outside peers, situations that I have no control over and knowing my kids are always watching helps that I show them how I pray they deal with things in life as they get older. Motherhood has taught me to think before I speak, to pick my own friends wisely, and to be the example I want them to see. I pray I inspire my children daily based off how I live my own life.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I won $20,000 I would put some of it away in a high yields saving account for my children to have once they are 18 and pay the rest of our debt off. I would also love to take them somewhere fun (they’ve been begging to go on a roadtrip to the beach), and I would also give back to mothers in need.
