The most rewarding part of being a mom is the feeling of rediscovering life like maybe you never felt before or it somehow escaped you. I struggle a lot with both mental health / physical health issues, and have my entire life. Life at one point got gray, I didn’t see it coming nor wanted it to come, but it did. However becoming a mom, color was restored into those gray areas. To me, that’s the most rewarding part; the indescribable pure joy and love!

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is strength. Not just in a physical way, mentally and spiritually too- in a way that no one can truly describe. To show up even when you don’t feel like it. To fill cups when yours sometimes isn’t even full. Yet somehow doing it all with joy and thankfulness, because it truly is magical. A mother is the strongest thing I’ve ever had to be and more than glad I am.

Our son (Oliver 20 months) was recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes: (4/2/26.) Prior to his diagnosis, he was hospitalized because he was in DKA and we had no idea. Life has drastically changed in all aspects for us, especially financially. It’s been one thing after another (car broke down, oven broke etc.) 20,000 would change our lives, literally. We would use it for all things bills, medical and related to! It would be a true blessing / miracle, that we would be beyond thankful for!
