“supermom” means showing up through grief. Lost my 20 yr old son last year, and I’m still standing for my 15 yr old son. Broken, but here.
We would like to thank you for supporting Sarah Swanson in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
Watching my kids grow up. My youngest is Autistic. So watching him navigate everything in his life is rewarding. Every small step, adventure, learning, communication is all rewarding. Watching both boys create a bond that will be forever held in our hearts is amazing.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has thought me to cherish every single moment with your kids! My son who was 20 years old passed away last year from Suicide, and I will never get those moments with him again. So everyday I am thankful my younger son is still here so I can create those ever lasting memories that I will cherish forever.
What would you do with $20,000?I will take my son on a trip. Create as many memories as we can. I now live everyday not knowing what could happen so haunt every moment with him is extremely meaningful to us.
