Sarah Haugh

I’m a mom of two, one neurodivergent child. I know more about dinosaurs than most people.

We would like to thank you for supporting Sarah Haugh in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Being their person. It can be hard to be the person they need all the time, but is the best feeling too. Being the first person they want when something goes right or something goes wrong. The love like no other, it is completely unconditional. Learning from them, whether it’s what they love or through experiences together. Growing together as we figure out our world and new experiences together.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

How to meet someone where they are and be what they need in the moment. Whether they need patience or kindness or someone to be firm. How wonderful and amazing different can be and how to navigate a world through a whole new perspective.

What would you do with $20,000?

It would help create a cushion for our family. We both work and run kids to appointments and sports and it would be amazing to have one less stressor in our lives to focus on our kids needs and fill our cups too.
