Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part is the depth of love I feel. It’s steady and expansive in a way that’s hard to explain until you experience it. Loving my kids has given me a clearer picture of how God loves us, consistently, without keeping score. It’s the kind of love that keeps showing up. That’s what I try to model for them, being present, guiding them, and starting fresh each day. I remind them often that my love isn’t something they have to earn, it’s already theirs.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

It has really trimmed the fat on what I think life should be like and what we want most for our kids. It has taught me inclusivity, hard work, presence, advocacy especially for medical reasons. I have never wanted more peace in the world and to have better humans running this planet. So I have a lot of work to do to raise leaders and soldiers to make this place a better world for all!

What would you do with $20,000?

There's no better way to grow your perspective like traveling. You see how majority of the world lives and it will humble you and make you view the world differently. The money will go to travels and not lavish hotels and pool parties. But to see the world for what it really is will only strengthen them and be more as ONE with the world then divided. I know when I travel my levels of empathy and humanity sky rocket. It's the best thing for the soul to grow. This is what I want to show my kids.
