The most rewarding part of being a mom is being able to see my kids shine in their own ways. They all have the same roots but have grown into their own beautiful independent selves and they amaze me each day. When I see their compassion and love for others it gives me hope for the future.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me that no matter what has happened in our past, we have the ability to shape and look towards the future. I lost both of my parents and there were days I felt like giving up. But seeing the love and happiness in my children gave me the confidence to look towards not only their futures but my own. They helped me find myself again and encouraged me to be the best version of myself.
What would you do with $20,000?Though I work 3 jobs, finances continue to be a burden. I would pay off bills that we have been unable to pay and take few days with my family somewhere to enjoy being with each other before my oldest goes to college in August. It is making me very aware life is fleeting and we haven’t been able to do anything like that as a family in years. Our dream vacation would be Hawaii or Italy but any time to enjoy with just my family would be amazing .
