The most rewarding part of being a mom is when at the end of the night when everyone is fed, bathed and has their medicine and all the chaos of the day with therapies, little messes and spills has all calmed down and their little faces look at me and smile and say “I love you mommy”, I wouldn’t trade that for the world.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson I have learned is that you’re never really going to be that “perfect” mom that society expects of you. It’s more like “oh no, I forgot to wipe their face before we left… well a spit shine will do!” And that is totally okay and should be okay.
What would you do with $20,000?I would purchase a new reliable adaptive mini van with a wheelchair ramp for my 9 year old special needs daughter whom has cerebral palsy that can also fit all of my kids and their favorite toys as well as our dog!
