What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Watching them grow. Watching them face fears, try new things, embark on adventures big and small, challenge themselves and surprise themselves and having them run back to you to tell you all about it or how proud they are. Watching their interests shift and their personalities ignite. Growth is the most rewarding, and being a safe space for them to grow and be and change and feel. Showing them its okay to change, expand and just be, encouraging them to find themselves & be proud in the journey.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

You're never done learning, you will learn, unlearn & relearn 10 things just this week. Your child is always changing, you're always adjusting to meet their needs but also in yourself, every stage of life, heck even sometimes daily we are discovering interests or seeing new things and meeting new people. Never ever shut yourself off to learn. Your brain cannot possibly remember it all, so relearn. Take a class you liked again, try a new hobby, show your children to always keep learning themselve

What would you do with $20,000?

I would either use it as a down-payment on our own home that we've been trying to purchase, because being a stay at home mom can feel a little thankless and selfish and rewardless... I'd love to feel like i financially contributed even though my husband would say I am, it would be nice to help. Or.... I would take us on an airplane to the ocean, all 5 of us, my husband and 3 kiddos, have never been on an airplane or seen the ocean. So one of the two, or split it and do both 😂
